Monthly maintenance

We run a website backup schedule so there's always a consistent backup. If the server is ever compromised, a backup stored elsewhere helps the site recover quickly.

A fully dedicated server with worry-free AWS management and root access. Self-hosted sites load up to 20x faster on our Turbo Servers.

Approach & Timeline

A focused 10 to 12 week path from kickoff to launch.

Timelines are contingent on receiving feedback and assets within 3 to 5 days of each deliverable. Larger sites or complex integrations may require adjustments. Each milestone includes two rounds of revisions.

Week 1 · Onboarding & Discovery

Welcome & ClientOS

A welcome email from your dedicated client manager, invitations to our collaboration tools, and access to your own Client Operating System, where everything related to the project lives so you're informed at every step.

Discovery call

A 60 to 90 minute brand discovery session. We send a brand discovery document beforehand, or we can complete it together during the call. Just set aside the time and we handle the rest.

Sitemap design

We design a sitemap document outlining the pages and content breakdown, sketching the skeleton of your website, then invite you into Figma for feedback. Expect up to two rounds of revisions.

Week 2–3 · Content Crafting & Brand Design

We create an initial draft using new, existing, or combined content that encapsulates your brand's voice, forming the basis for the design phase.

Our creative team crafts logo concepts and invites you to choose the one that captures your brand's essence. We refine it through two rounds of revisions.

The Fine Print

Web Design & Development Agreement

Read the full agreement

This Web Design and Development Agreement is entered into as of [DATE] by and between 5Four (the “Agency”) and [CLIENT NAME] (the “Client”) of [COMPANY], both of whom agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Services

The Agency shall provide branding, web design, and development services to the Client, as described in the attached Proposal. The Proposal is incorporated into this Agreement by reference and is considered an integral part of this Agreement. Services include brand discovery, a responsive logo, visual assets, a sitemap, high-fidelity wireframes, a design system, development using industry-standard technologies, a QA process, and delivery of final deliverables including SOPs, HTML files, and asset access.

2. Compensation

The Client agrees to pay the Agency per the following schedule: 50% of the total fee upon commencement of work; 25% due 30 days from the date of the first invoice; 25% due 30 days from the date of the second invoice. The Agency shall invoice the Client in accordance with this payment schedule.

3. Ownership of Intellectual Property

The Client shall own all intellectual property rights in the deliverables created by the Agency under this Agreement. The Agency agrees to execute any necessary documents to effectuate the transfer of such rights to the Client.

4. Feedback and Revisions

The Agency shall provide deliverables for Client feedback. If the Client fails to provide feedback within the stated time frame, the delivery date may be adjusted and may result in additional charges or delayed timelines. The Agency provides two rounds of revisions per deliverable; additional rounds are billed at $275/hour. The Client agrees to provide feedback, revisions, and approvals within three to five business days of receiving each deliverable. Upon approval of a deliverable, subsequent revision requests are outside the original scope and billed separately.

5. Termination

The Agency may terminate for non-payment or material breach. The Client may terminate upon written notice, subject to payment for services rendered up to termination. Either party may terminate by mutual agreement. If the Client becomes unresponsive for 30 days, the Agency may consider the project complete and demand payment for the current milestone; resuming afterward is treated as a new engagement, quoted separately. Upon termination, the Agency delivers all completed deliverables and the Client pays for all services rendered up to the date of termination.

6. Case Studies

The Client grants the Agency permission to showcase finished and in-progress work in case studies, portfolio, or marketing materials, subject to Client approval not to be unreasonably withheld. The Agency may request a "Crafted by" credit with a link, and permission to use screenshots and visuals from the Client's website, which the Client grants.

7. Confidentiality

The Agency agrees to keep confidential and proprietary information confidential and to use it solely to provide services under this Agreement.

8. Representations and Warranties

The Agency represents that it has the skills, expertise, and resources to provide the services, and that the deliverables will not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Agency shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the services provided under this Agreement.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Florida, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

11. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.

12. Amendments

This Agreement may be amended or modified only by a written instrument executed by both parties.

13. Notices

Any notice required or permitted under this Agreement shall be in writing and delivered to the address specified, or to such other address as either party may designate by written notice.

14. Waiver

No waiver by either party of any breach shall constitute a waiver of any subsequent or other breach.

15. Assignment

The Agency may not assign this Agreement without the Client's prior written consent. The Client may assign to any successor of the Client's business, provided the successor agrees to be bound by these terms.

16. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond its control, including acts of God, pandemics, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of authorities, fire, floods, earthquakes, accidents, strikes, or shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.
